We’ve argued before that the value of a college degree was questionable. That was before covid. Since then, the value proposition has deteriorated markedly.

Speaking as a former tradesman, I have an opinion as to why there are so few women in the trades: it's because the work is surprisingly hard in the physical sense. If you've never done this type of work then you have no idea how hard it can be. It takes strength in your shoulders and back to wrestle a geyser up a ladder and into a roof space to fit it. A morning spent pulling electrical wire through tight conduits can leave you with sore hands for days. During summer I've worked on roofs so hot they were literally hotter than a sauna, and in winter I've worked many entire days outside in freezing cold. Tradesmen have often worn out their bodies by the time they reach their 50's, and back and knee problems are common. Apart from any discussions about interests or aptitudes, women are just not physically strong or durable enough for this type of labor. The trades will always be dominated by men.

First. Thank you for work sir. Douglass Murray interestingly pointed out that there's little push for equity in the vocational arts, only for the white collar c-suite jobs. Fascinating times we're in.

Hello! I tried to leave a comment on a year old video about whether government is needed but then realized it wasnt on your channel so I'll paste it here instead: Have you made any video or podcast explaining which services of government you think would not be possible or would be very hard to be provided on the a market? Specifically any counterarguments to David Friedman's Machinery of Freedom would be nice to hear from you. I find Friedman's arguments convincing and I have some extra ideas of my own about how problems regarding public goods can be solved on a free market that convince me even further tha a government in the usual sense, is not needed. So I'm looking for new counterarguments!

What's happened to the males in college? THANK YOU gentlemen🙏 This discrepancy is contributing to the reckoning we're going to experience as well.

My 2 older brothers and myself have all done very well for ourselves through trades. None of us did great in high school, we excelled in vocational studies.
