I think those colors and patterns from our past, whether we consciously remember them or not, tend to resonate with us. Regardless, the colors look great together! It sounds like you'll get to make another project with that beautiful navy blue! I do tend to overbuy a little for jumpers. I'd rather have some to make gifts or coordinating items.

Welcome! At this point I am in the same boat and I don't think I could give Hazel away. I'm too attached. But maybe the next one I make! She ended up sitting at the door and greeting people at a friend's art exhibition about red squirrels and was a bit hit. It's nice that everyone who sees her is so complimentary and wants one for themselves.
