I’m so so proud of you! I know how hard those situations are…stuck vehicles. We had a vehicle with pretty low treads once in a snowy area. I guess you can’t assume certain things…crazy! The fact that you’re banned from dyeing in your apartment …that story was so funny. Even though I’m a climber, I too am not into downhill skiing…cross country is better for me. Sarah, all fingers are crossed for a job opportunity to come through for you. If you’re willing to share a little about what types of roles you’re in search of… Abe one of us has a connection. You never know…

Try drinking a tablespoon of baking soda in water it’s incredible. It helps with inflammation.

You know what I do for the TULC is I use double pointed needles for the button band and go down to a 3.5

Lots of interesting content, as usual 😊 I knit the TULC two years ago and remember enjoying the knitting of it. I used a single strand of Plotulopi. I remember thinking the construction of the underarm was brilliant. The only problem I had with the button band was ending up with way too many buttonholes I'm doing a test-knit at the moment using Holst Supersoft held double. I'm not liking the experience at all....maybe the called-for needle is too small...3.5mm. I've been okay in the past on projects with it held single. It's quite coarse...but my swatch is great, so I have faith in the sweater. Saying that, though, I may not ever use it again held double 🤔

The smallest needle I've ever used with Holst supersoft is a 4.5mm. 3.5 sounds like it would be really tight because the 4.5 already gives a nice dense fabric! I did make a pair of socks with Holst held single on a 2.25 mm needle and the fabric was just beautiful but I recently tore through the entire sole of both feet in the same wear. Not fixable, but I might salvage the colour-work cuff for some mittens. I'm sure your sweater will come out good! I joined the tulc pattern with the underarms already connected but I would definitely make the pattern again! I think Ailbiona Mclochlainn is such a great pattern writer. Thank you for watching! I always look forward to your comment :)

@ladystairsknits7472 oh, I forgot to say....I bought the Storm Hood (?), after seeing yours on social media. I think it would be nice as something like that wouldn't squash my curls 😃
