WHY!?
@HawgWyldFishing25 күн бұрын
Drafting Jaylen Waddle over Sewell wasn’t the misfire of that draft. Drafting Liam Eichenburg(been eh at his best) over Creed Humphrey(the best center in football, not named Jason Kelce), was the catastrophic mistake of that draft. Waddle has been a foundational building block of the team, Liam Eichenburg has played all 5 positions across the O line, and his best performance at any of those positions has just been to be okay enough to not be the worst possible option. Creed Humphrey has been the foundational core of KC entire offensive line, which has been one of the top 2 performing Offensive Lines in all of football since he was drafted, specifically along the interior of the line. Their tackles get penalties, but it’s always just false start penalties, which are 5 yards. Which are much easier to overcome than getting a bunch of 10 yard holding penalties, due to guys getting themselves out of position and having bad hand placement and pad level, like the dolphins o line gets. And it’s much easier to have a successful team when the interior of the o line holds up, and creates a pocket well enough that even if the tackles get beaten to their outside, they can just ride the defender all the way back and out of the play, and the QB still has plenty of space to step up into. Which is why KC o line is able to be successful and why Miamis continues to struggle. The national media loves talking about tackles being the most important, but if you ask a QB, they all will tell you that they would much rather have a strong interior, and just use running backs and tight ends to help out their tackles before getting out into their routes. Because having a bad interior means there is no solution that is going to allow the offense to function how it needs to, in order to move the ball consistently.

Adam is having a delusional hope filled dream. Dolphins have zero chance of winning on Sunday against the Bills. We all know what’s going to happen. We’ve seen it for years. 34-6 Bills. And of course Tua will play like ass like he always does against elite teams.

I disagree with you, it’s going to be 34-16 😂 They’ll get 1 touchdown in the beginning and they’ll get shut down the rest of the game, as per usual

What about the 32-29 loss in late December in 2022? Tua played well that game. Why didn't we lose 34-6 that game? Apparently you have seen it for Years? Even the playoff game 3 weeks later we lost 34-31...Yes ZERO chance...Even though we have played very well 2 of the last 3 games in Buffalo

Yep, when the Fins lose Sunday, the mercy trades Adam mentioned makes sense. The Chiefs have the worst LT in the AFC… Armstead gets a possible ring. Lions could use Campbell. The 2 best drafting teams, with apologies to the Texans.
@BillyBatsonMarvel25 күн бұрын
Keeping all that draft capital would have given us a 2-5 record for less money along with a healthier salary cap to boot. Defeating the Bills would be s fluke of a victory. Tua and the 🐬are petrified of the Bills uniform, you can put our practice squad players in that uniform and they would defeat this team 31-13.

@indade25 күн бұрын
where people describe these talented teams, they reference their peripheral players. the problem is those "talented teams" with success have that talent in the trenches. Dolphins are "talented" in referencing their peripheral positions but their trenches aren't strong enough. OLine looks "good enough" gets lesser DLines. good DLines show you where the OLine actually is. the Dolphins DLine usually looks good but with all the injuries and loss of talent, it's watered down. so the defense blitzes, exposes the backend and good offense tee off on that.
@dave3457325 күн бұрын
You can't be talented and Injured at the same time...Does not work that way...The DL...Chubb and Phillips and very very talented...Well they are injured...They have 2 1st round picks and a lot of money invested on them and they are not on the field...Seiler going to miss his 2nd game..Solid DT as they come.. so 3 of our 4 starting and best DL is out..Yes when healthy very talented as shown last season when they were on the field all together...
@indade25 күн бұрын
@@dave34573 they're talented on their peripheral positions as well. Hill, Waddle, Ramsey, Holland, etc... my point is teams can suffer injuries to those units if their trenches are very talented and healthy. the problem with the Dolphins is that since so many assets have been put into the peripheral positions and their trenches are not as talented as needed against playoff caliber teams. plus they're injured. i'll say it this way, my view of the Dolphins is, even if both sides of the trenches were healthy, it wouldn't be enough to beat playoff caliber rosters. especially the OLine. Bills can lose people in their secondary and LBs and still be effective defensively because their DLine is intact. you build from the trenches out, Grier builds outside in.

In defense of Skylar Thompson being the backup and Mike McDaniel and Grier screwing up..Skylar only played 3 quarters of the 1st game he started this year and got injured. Sure he played bad up to that point in the game.. but it is too small of a sample size to say he should not have been the back up to TUA......You remember Teddy Bridgwater in 2022...Legit backup QB and former NFL Starter...What happened to him? Oh He got hurt while playing for the Dolphins..What did he do with the Dolphins while TUA was out? Even in the playoffs vs Buffalo..Where was Teddy that they had to start Skylar?... All these other so called backup QB saviors everyone is harping about not getting this year..What if they got injured? The point is we really don't know 100% if Mcdaniel and Grier messed up the backup QB spot because Skylar got injured and its not like he got benched after starting 2 games..he played 3 quarters.....We get Huntley and he gets injured😂 What does that tell u..Go look at the New Orleans Saints...Derek Car Goes down...and boom 0-3 and offense is just as bad as the Dolphins without TUA..Last 2 games they scored 10 and 8 points..Even the 1st game without Derek Carr they scored 27 but that was because of a punt return TD and Baker INT's setting up short field position..Without Carr..they are bottom 3-5 team in the NFL...Saints 1st 2 games of the season..47 & 44 ....Not as easy and simple as everyone makes it out to be with the back up QB. Its more than just plugging in a capable back up and winning...its a team game..

Beasley, the defense is always on the field bcuz of a super inefficient Offense, losing Phillips Chubb on the line, and ranked top 5 in passing defense? One bad defensive game compared to an abysmal Offense the entire season. Poupart, why on earth would the GM listen to a coach, his underling, to not to get a backup QB? Esp when we had all off season to get two. Fields & Wilson. But CHRIS GRIER chose this to justify picking Tua Turndaballover, sadly & unfortunately. We need a new QB period.

Always short handed always the victim. There are the starting Corners, the starting LBs, and the outliers that they rolled the dice on and have added nothing so far. Flo could take a third of these players and be 500. FIRE GRIER hire a former player and then evaluate MCD. A blow out to Buffalo is the opportunity to clear house.

Since when did the bills become elite? The dolphins maybe having a real shitty yeah but that doesn't make the bills any better take allen out for a month and lets see what they do for those 4 games? Oh god that would probably make the pathetic jets a possibility for winning the East? Shoot I'd rather see new England win the east before the jets or the bildoes!
