Grier knew…??… Phillips had a significant injury history at UCLA. He made it through a season at UM, because his UM teammate Greg Rousseau did much of the ruff stuff… and had 17 sacks as well. I don't tune in for the announcers, but if I'm torn between which game to watch. I'm choosing the game with Kevin Harlin or Gus Johnson or Greg Olsen or the best announcer. In the last 2 years, the Chiefs have had 47 penalties go their way inside the last 5 min of a game. They've had 49 penalties called against them. I think it looks like the Chiefs get all the calls because they're always playing in the biggest games every year. The Chiefs also seem to make teams pay more than others when a call does go their way. I see a few bad calls every game. The Chiefs are just the team playing when all the eyeballs are watching these games. Nobody remembers the missed face mask call on Mahomes, or the missed intentional grounding when Allen threw a deep ball to nobody in the pocket because people only focus on the Chiefs getting the calls. Trust me. I can't stand them winning either, but it's not rigged.

Allen and Mahommes were trade ups and great deals, Jackson was a great deal. Grier did not have a plan when the Tanny situation was shaky and we had to rent Jay Cutler for 10 million, and I lack faith that there is a plan now. Bring in Mac Jones for a back up now, he knows Waddle and has a more recent win vs. Buffalo.
