In this episode of Heart to Heart, Sarah speaks to Rebecca Logan, who fell ill with COVID-19 in 2020. Aged just 40, she went from being healthy and active to being virtually housebound due to Long COVID.
Catherine Murnin, Head of Care Services at Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke, also joins the discussion on living with Long COVID and how the charity’s COVID-19 Recovery Programme, which is the first service of its kind in Northern Ireland, has helped aid local sufferers like Rebecca in their recovery.
This episode was filmed in August 2021.

You are spot on. We all look okay. Only we Know how useless we are with our body. Fatigue from long covid cannot be explained. Only sufferers will understand

Going on 16 months now and I still can walk more than 10 min. I used to be very fit and active, biking, running skiing etc. At this point I am not sure I will ever get better.

I’m so sorry, my son has so much tension and fatigue, muscle spasms, tightening of chest, headaches, panic attacks, dizziness. Is been over a year and a couple of months. Horrible, we are praying and looking for GODs mercy and healing. The doctors act as if he’s Hallucinating, even did a drug test on him; these are real symptoms. Hang in there and GOD bless everyone suffering with this disease🙏🏽

@@jacquelineanderson8722 Thank you so much, we don't understand God's reasons and methods, and maybe it helps us find greater strength. All we can do is pray for God's mercy and compassion for us as you said.

@@kapaul1584 Have you seen flccc alliance I-Recover protocol? I'd consider a round of Ivermectin and HCQ for a week in addition to the supplements on the list. I had covid 2 months ago and have been on my own long haul protocol since: Horse paste (Ivermectin 0.2mg/kg), 325mg aspirin, 50mg Benadryl and supplements. My only symptom now is the fatigue thus I'm working on the mitochondria. I'm eating organ meats, hearts, liver for CoQ10 and B-12 in addition to CoQ10 supplement. I also use fermented ginseng and Niacin for the mitochondria. I will do my long covid protocol for 3 months and then evaluate. Good luck.

Iam 27 years old. I was fit and damn healthy. Took my first covid shield vaccine shot in January, got slight chest heaviness, headache and fever the next day, was fine after that. Then took my second covid shield vaccine shot in March, didn't get any symptoms from this second shot of vaccine. The next month i.e in April I was tested covid positive & in next i.e in may i started to experience a hell lot of symptoms. The series of events are mentioned below:- -> Palpitations for no reason. -> Palpitations in sleep for no stress and anxiety. -> Heart pain and shortness of breath. Due to this I was taken to ER couple of times, where EKG was normal many times, doctors there used to tell me that it's a stress and anxiety, but it was not the case. So I decided to go for heart diagnose. Here TMT, ECHO and other blood test showed normal values. Atlast CT coronary angiography was carried out, here also the report did come normal. Currently I still experienced heart pain and chest discomfort, but there is no shortness of breath. Sometimes I don't have any symptoms while walking, running and climbing the stairs, but even at rest I can feel the heart pain. Currently I am on beta blockers tablets(metoprolol 50g), currently the episode of Palpitations has reduced. God help me from this. Thanks china, for destroying my life and health 😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. Long hauled twice. A year the first time and would still be long hauling the second time if I hadn't found the MCAS protocols. Reversed my symptoms in a matter of hours.

@@jacquelineanderson8722 Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. In the UK they found long hauler and MCAS symptions are the same. They actually are finding MCAS may the root cause of many issues people have. The Mast cells of the body are releasing large amounts of histamine.
