Marie is the Public Information Officer for the City of Perrysburg, Ohio. Previously I was the social media manager for Cleveland State University. She was also an adjunct professor and taught Social Media and Society for the School of Media and Communications and Viral Buzz Marketing for the College of Business.
During her first year at BGSU, she was recognized as the 2014 Rookie of the Year by the BGSU Administrative Staff Council for being integral to using social media to enhance or improve student recruitment, retention, and engagement.
Before BGSU, Marie spent 18 years as a television news producer at WTOL/WUPW in Toledo and WKYC in Cleveland. She was honored for earning an Emmy Award in 2009 for best morning newscast in the lower Great Lakes region.
