I work with the actor who plays 'Gerry', and in real life he is genuinely a very nice guy. In fact, I worked alongside him for over a year before I realized he was even in this episode! He never talks about his acting career, even though he's been in loads of movies and TV shows. I just leave him be and chat to him on occasion. He's a very humble guy. I've never let on that I know who he really is. I think he prefers it that way, so I respect his privacy.

Yes, the BBC doesn't allow blatant advertising so anything linked to an existing product or company has to be changed so it you know who it is but they can't say they're being advertised.
