PS, I found a similar video that showed the canister on the driver's side, so I pulled the wheel and inner fender and it wasn't there. Then, I rechecked the video and saw it was from the UK... where the driver's side is the right side :} Finally, I found yours, which was crystal clear and a better video, and makes me sure it will be on the right side. Off I go to my garage. Thanks much!

Hi, this was a very useful video as I've been trying to figure out where the smell of fuel has been coming from. It's now all sorted thanks to your video, both connecting pipes from the EE vape canister were split. Thanks again

Bravo!! Thanks! I wish I had seen this before ordering the Saab PVC kit... which is no longer urgent!

Hello, I’ve got a Laser Red, 2005 Saab 9-5 Hirsch, same problem. I smell fuel But not so much at idle, mainly when driving, under heavy load is when it’s constantly smelling like fuel. I’ve also got P0455 As an Evap code. I’ve changed all visible lines that I can see and all my valves are the upgraded new metal check valves. What you’re doing in this video, I simply look there in my 9-5 and nothing is to be found. I’ve checked all my connections and hoses that I’ve changed but I find nothing. Why does my cabin smell of fuel under hard acceleration and where else should I be looking?

Great video! My canister makes like a put put noise when working for lack of a better description! Been meaning to take a look and this may have just inspired me!

Did this job today! One pipe looked ok but changed them both anyway. Snapped 2 of the plastic nuts that holds the arch liner ion though !

Is it possible I have the same in my 9-3 2001 OG?
@saabfeverfrank Жыл бұрын
Sorry, but I`m afraid that I simply don't know the answer to this or have access to an OG9-3 to check for you.

Can this cause code p1110.
@saabfeverfrankАй бұрын
No, it shouldn't. That's likely caused by the blow-off valve, control valve or perished hose between them. I had it once, the hose at perished slightly at one end and popped off. Ultimately, I needed to replace the hose. It's quite an easy job.

@@saabfeverfrank i got it fixed. And also this since my hoose looked like yours and smelled petrol
