Episode 41: the Carousel of Progress

The Carousel of Progress is the last thing Walt actually touched. It was created for the New York worlds fair, then moved to Disneyland, and currently resides in Walt Disney world. It’s a one of a kind experience that is really a historical monument of sorts.

Semantics in what I said. More precisely it was the last one he built and saw come to fruition. Walt died in December of 1966, the pirates opened in 67, and the mansion in 69.
