Episode 42- Clearing for the septic system using the TYM, T25 tractor, chain saw & DR Power chipper

With the septic system being installed soon, some clearing needs to be done in preparation. This will be a test to some of the newer equipment I've acquired, like the TYM T25 tractor with its small backhoe, and the chipper attachment I got for my DR Power brush hog. I got some mowing done and replaced the mower with the chipper. With the 17 HP engine, I would expect it to work effortlessly. It's rated for branches up to 3.5" in diameter. Branches on green limbs should be easy to push through. I may have to do some extra cutting on dry branches. I'll do a review on the TYM tractor once I've got 50 hours on it, and able to pass fair judgement.
This channel is dedicated to educating and entertaining anyone interested in the art/science of historic restoration, which will include construction techniques and goals, related off-site projects, a little homesteading and off-grid living, history and maybe even a little farming. On this property stands a Dogtrot style log cabin built in 1850, with an addition constructed in the 1970's. Although at one point, this was likely quite a nice and well cared for home, but years of neglect has caused a lot of deterioration.My intent is to have you learn some construction and restoration basics, as you watch. None of my videos are intended to teach the use o-f safety techniques or use of personal protective equipment. That responsibility is yours and those around you.

I mostly love mine. I absolutely hate the backhoe outriggers, a terrible design. I'll do a review later.
