I have something that stayed with me even to this day. When I joined Business and went for Sales tours across the country with the Sales team. My Grandfather taught me to skip breakfast and eat lunch, and the restaurant we could go to was determined by what kind of sales I made during those first few hours of morning. Most days we went to average uddipi Restaurants, then few times to a 5 star and very few bad days we ate vada pav or equivalent of the state we were in, for lunch. Even to this day, I cant eat breakfast and I have to make sure I earn my lunch each and every day. No matter what happens, I WILL WORK 3-4 hours every morning, even from a hospital. Btw, I am a business owner so have a home office and my job is to make sure the whole company is working and follow-up with everyone. I never skip it. Made me a resilient fucker till date!

Baap re 🙏 I think now I get some confidence back from you Sir, when I opted not buying a house still now, staying in rent, buying a car after 13 years in job, not wearing a valueable perfume any day, only focused to raise my capital and continuing to do so while my compensation is never bad by d grace of God.... and going against my family a bit, now I am thinking I have not done any mistake. I listened to your perception about P previously also, and I just followed it. 👍 In another interview, you said mahine me 20000 SIP karke 20 CR kabhi na kiya ja sakta hai. It was brutal but I liked it. Because that is my thought also. Psychology ka kya karoge? Middle class generally are middle class because our mentality is middle class. So many other factors r thr, but I think u r d first one to say the tough one directly and it was honest. It opened my eyes. Today, the coffee example os another eye opening one from you Sir. 🙏🙏🙏

Using a product 24×7 is abuse. Rationale should be utility of the product or sometimes emotional value associated with it. Sometimes, keeping an ancestral car or property will be more meaningful rather than having 100 crores after 30 years. We should balance needs desires and aspirations. Otherwise, money will be useless.

@Basant Maheshwari - The Equity Desk I took it without knowing much about it. it has been already 3 years since the policy so I can surrender the same. the same amount I can use for term insurance where I will get at least a decent amount of insurance. In the existing plan, not much insurance coverage, and for 80c many other options are available.

marooo to the core.,any other maroos think on same line of "kharcha kam karo" .give a 👍 Tho selling "silver" ,was a blacksheep act or didn't get slaughtered by mom or wife. For me silver/gold is always a best hedge of asset class against inflation. Others I can think of are parsis & sindhis ,most of them think on same line and u r always lucky if you don't have "puuunj"jabi (*mimicking boycott*) friends..hard to compete with their extravaganza 🤨
