For once, the dad is in the right which is uncommon in Super Nanny. But the mom isn't bad, she has good intentions but she needs to be reminded that kids do need consequences in order to become functioning adults

Too many parents don't want to actually parent. They want to be liked. They want to befriend their children. It's an incredibly selfish mindset. Not only are they making things more difficult for their children (the rest of the world won't coddle them), but eventually they're gonna be adults and everyone else is gonna have to put up with their attitudes.

@Crazycatlady71
@Crazycatlady71 6 күн бұрын
Exactly! Without boundaries and consequences, children do feel as though their parents don't care about them or what they do. Through their behavior, all e of those girls were screaming for boundaries. They were out of control and they were scared of their lack of self control. Self control is a taught and learn skill. I don't know how they acted around other people, but it appeared they had no social skills either. They were just 3 wild almost ferel girls that lacked in every area needed in life to succeed and to be a contributing member of society. I'm so glad the parents called on Jo Frost because this family was a total mess. I just don't understand how or why they waited so long. The girls were half grown.

Why are so many Supernanny moms okay with husbands working away from home and leaving the children to be raised by mothers? That's bs! Mommy is missing the most crucial thing here, and that is that all actions have consequences., good or bad. Her job is to guude them towards the better choices and support them when they make mistakes, so that when they grow up, they will know how to make good choices and cope with the consequences of bad ones. These kids are just brats here, acting like toddlers. And they will have a very hard life if they don't shape up.

The mom is a prime example of what happens when you only focus on the "light work" - toxic positivity. There is nothing wrong with ushering in the light and acting out of love but source is dualistic and both negative and positive experiences lead to evolution/ascension. "Consequences" would be learning from a negative experience. The shadow self must be brought into view and addressed, and these girls are acting from their shadow side because they have trauma that needs to be addressed. A gentle approach will not work.. They need to uproot all that has wounded and hurt and that doesn't look like lollipops and rainbows.

The mother says she doesn’t want to cause emotional pain but by not talking to the girls about their background she is doing just that. The father clearly has another life in Vegas otherwise he would get another job closer to home. He is being selfish.

It’s important to talk about the twins background. As a mixed race person, I can say, they will be asking questions about their background, culture, heritage and will need to understand this in depth to grow. If they don’t teach it at home, the world will teach it for them…God bless them ❤

Mom and dad rarely even stood close to eachother. They were usually on opposite sides of the room even. I'm thinking they split up and they didn't want to hurt their children so they're waiting until they're older or moved out to announce it. My dad works at a coal mine, 1.5 hours from his house .... he still makes the daily commute, and so do his coworkers. I can't imagine they are living that far out of Vegas that dad can't make it home each night. And if they do....well, they should move closer. Kids deserve more than weekend visitations if the parents are truly still together.

Love, love, love Jo Frost❤❤❤ Parents…..you are the initial seed that make or break your children. Simple…’you child..me parent/adult’. Now a days, it feels like some parents just want to play the good guy, shower kids with material goods and behave like friends to their children. Teach them manners, respect, especially for your elders, kindness, how to speak properly, good behaviour, consequences for bad behaviour etc. They will rule the next and then the older generation. YEARS AGO there was a generation that did just that, no books, no internet, nor spiritual psychology 😊. These two people seem like decent people. Just use use basic sense and basic values no mumbo dumbo. Thank goodness for Jo Frost. That beacon in the fog❤❤❤
