My heart goes out to all those whose parent/s treat them the way this mum did. Remember: even though it feels like it surrounds you, it does not define you. Look into yourself and see that you ARE special, you ARE enough, and the world is lucky to have you in it. Keep trying your best, because YOU will know when you’re doing your best, not them, and that is enough. You matter, and you are important.

That moment about the hands wiped on the kitchen towel hit home. My home is not perfectly clean by ANY means but I do mistakenly fly off the handle sometimes for silly things. And not having fun while your family is. Being that dark cloud. Man, this show is timeless. Jo was doing God’s work, like an Angel sent to help parents heal. More parents need to really take this in.

@Sahal E. M. Patel I don’t really remember and I don’t feel like re-watching the whole video but I remember the mom would twist the daughters words to make the daughter seem more rude. If the daughter gave the mom the slightest bit of attitude, the mom would blow up in her face and come back 10x meaner than the daughter.
