Nice lab! I set mine up in a 4x4 tent with a 2x2 hood that draws air from inside the tent and a hepa filtered air, creating positive pressure inside the tent. I have left an open plate on my bench for 2 days. Nor a single sign of any contamination.

@@splinedown that’s awesome! I do think having a positive pressure environment helps a lot! Much luck to you!

I like your set up, I am just using a still airbox and small 2x2 tent. What substrates have you grown on?

CVG, straw, and hardwood pellets. I keep experimenting with additives, but these are my base substrates. I would like to try cardboard at some point, too. What do you grow on?

@@johnm5359 so far, coco coir, vermiculite, and gypsum, various hard work pellets, and straw. I added the verm to the grain jars because the grains seemed a little over-hydrated to me. Thanks for commenting!

That’s what I kinda figured, I have had a problem with wet rot, I empty my corn onto cotton towels to absorb the extra water. Seems to be working decently but I like your trick of adding vermiculite, I guess I would just be scared to introduce a contam if the vermiculite wasn’t pasteurized

@ the vermiculite was pressure sterilized along with the grains. 😉
