@@waverunner3911 That’s not only rude but it’s a dumb thing to say. American humour and British humour are quite different. I’m a Scot who lived for years in the USA, so I know both. I once ended up in the Emergency Room with an asthma attack laughing so hard at Alan King talking about seranwrap and opening a tin of anchovies, those tins with the opener on the corner. The Golden Girls was brilliant, and Murphy Brown, and All In The Family and Lou Grant. This is a great series and I’m glad to hear expressions I haven’t heard in years. You’re thick as shit yourself if you can’t appreciate that each country has its own brand of humour.

the difference between Hyperdale and the asian newsagents is that Hyperdale doesn't rip you off for change or gives you foreign coins as change and they don't sell you out of date produce and finally you buy cheese at £1.99 when you can buy the same cheese from Farmfoods or Aldi for half the price. oh and not forgetting selling under the counter tobacco laced with AMMONIA.

I wasn't really convinced at that speech Navid made in the pub. He says everyone in the pub at one point asked him for tick and he's given them it. But, remember that episode where Winston was struggling with money? All Navid gave him was a tin of cat food and threatened to kick him in the balls. He says he made the effort to provide for all of them everyday, but his stock went out of date really fast, his fruit, veg and potatoes were rotten, that and he charges too dear of prices for certain items like Winston said with the bottle of ketchup. He asks why they all choose to go to Hyperdales now when he's struggling, but he doesn't realise that Hyperdales is new and is popuiar, but I could tell that in terms of Craiglang, it was dying of a bit. It was too far away. Jack and Victor only needed a carton of milk and they had to go 2 buses for it. Maybe if Navid stayed in the shop for a few more days, he'd see people start to come back. He was also very rude to some of his customers. He was struggling, yet, when Jack and Victor come in and say they're loyal, Navid calls them old and considers that they'll die soon, only to think about where he'll be instead. Navid can be a bit of a twat sometimes. He doesn't really notice that.
