The volume of words needed to describe such a setting is not possible. Only by seeing it can one even come close to truly encapsulating such venues. Thank you for taking me....nay....us on such a ride....

Another great course. I loved the old holes within the stone wall boundary and there were a few slightly ordinary holes in the new section but a great test, non the less. The 16th is a fearsome drive - sooo tight!

Another top class film Andy. Reading the comments from other viewers indicates that you are getting the balance right between golf course review and strategy as well as any interesting history associated with the location .

Great video as always. The footage is fantastic. First rate. You're quickly becoming my favorite vlog to watch. One of the things I love about golf is the history of our great game and you showcase that in these great courses that you play. I appreciate you making and sharing your videos.

Andy...I am traveling in May from the USA for a 10-day golf vacation in southern Scotland and Northern Wales and the first thing I did was to visit your vlogs to consider my options. Honestly, as much as playing the "big ones" would be nice, I am content playing the lesser-known courses. Thanks for your work on this...Priority #1 is Conwy...I will be playing with you in mind...

Hi Andy, I was lucky enough to win the Arrol Cup at Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club in 1972 and 1973 shooting 71, 65 = 136 in 1972 and 67, 67 = 134 in 1973. I'm sorry I wasn't able to play in your Average Golfer competition this year due to holiday commitments - I really enjoyed playing in it last year. David Little

Andy, Yep, played there a few times (Had a chum who was a member). Super course and a friendly membership Good nosebag as well, I recall. Played it at the crack of dawn one day and then flew over to Machrihanish for lunch and a round in the afternoon... as you do... Those were the days! You should really try Machrihanish - the 1st would be interesting given your shot shape.

Scene of my greatest ever victory was st nicks,my big mate and I played two 3 handicappers in the Ayrshire fourball, when had won the winter league to qualify for the fourball and got drawn away to st nicks,we were 3 down with 6 to play and won 5 in a row,the climax was my 8 ft birdie putt at 17👌🏻class course by the way 👍🏻

Played this one many decades ago. An excellent course however being a high handicap golfer (18) even thinking about holes 17 and 18 still brings me out in a cold sweat.

Ayrshire is a fantastic coastline and an abundance of golf courses to choose from. I think it is hard to pick favourites as they all have appeal fro different reasons
