Love this episode. There is a lovecraft story called the green meadow. Both the wolfe books you talked about could be seen as long forms of that story. Enjoy ❤

@@UndertowersPodcast Conan literally leads squadrons of lancers in a few of the stories. It's not a matter of figuring it out.

@@btrenninger1 hmmm... i am spacing on this story and we read them all but maybe by "lancers only exist in the romantic age" is showing. if you are refering to the comics though, i am completely unfamiliar as well as any of the non-howard conan stories.

@@btrenninger1 I remember him leading battalions in both of those stories, just not jousters / mounted lancers in particular but I'm sure that's just my error.
