Episode #5 Soybean cultivation on the Lower Rhine: Soil cultivation is the be-all and end-all

Klaus Genneper and Rainer Dierkes welcome Marie to their farms. They each own an arable farm with 120 ha of land. Together they run a farm shop where they sell their processed products as animal feed, among other things. Here in the Lower Rhine region, too, soil conditions vary greatly, which means that Marie not only visits a soybean field on lighter soil, but also works a loamy soil with a high clay content with the Rubin 9.
