I was planning on going with the 602a but now you got me thinking.. computer or no with that mech pump.? Im looking for more reliability than anything but being able to cruise at 70mph would be a bonus

@@vcamps88 no computer no problems (with computer related issues lol) the mech pump sure simplifies things and it’s pretty much a forever fix. The only time I’ve ever heard of any issue with the pumps are when you try to remove them. Usually due to human error

Great stuff Adam! Keep up the great work. Itching for more! I'm thinking about swapping for the 606 after my G gets out of the body shop. What transmission did you put in?

The jury is still out on transmission choice, but I’m leaning towards the 722.6 auto. Mostly because I already have one from the E300 I pulled the engine from. With a stand alone controller from OFgear it’ll be very comfortable to drive on road and off with a 5 speed overdrive transmission, the turbo thrives with an auto transmission as well because the rpm will stay up between shifts. The idea of a 6 speed ZF is a very tempting idea as well but as I get closer to finishing the engine I’ll have a better idea. The 606 is the best choice for an engine in my opinion, highly recommended 🔥

Hi. Neither the OM617 nor the OM617A were this powerful. Check the German Wikipedia pages for details specs. There is plenty of information and the tables can be understood easily. Cheers from Germany
