"Jellicles" are cats. "Pollicles" are dogs. There's a story telling sequence where some of the cats have to pretend to be dogs. It's very funny.

In "The Battle of the Pekes and the Pollicles", some of the cats dress up as dogs to tell the story. The shoeboxes as "dog" costumes add to the junkyard atmosphere

+Joshua Lewis one of the biggest Broadway houses actually. How big were you expecting?

Joshua Lewis A 1400 seat house would be about average for Broadway. Seeing as it's CATS, I think a smaller house would be better. It's not a grand spectacular like Wicked or The Lion King with multiple sweeping sets and over the top special effects. Aside from theatre availability, cost would also be a factor.

Oh my GAAWDDD! why didn't they give it a rewrite at least and give them all automatic Rifles I mean that seems to be the American way these days what with every American not happy with just having a hand gun NO they want a automatic Rifle YEAH Then we can call it FERAL CATS! and they could pic each other off during the musical numbers .
