i too have fished P4 (Red Wing down to Pepin) for the last 40 years. There has NEVER been 8 or 10 feet of clarity. More like 8 or 10 inches, the best I've measured is 33 inches. That's REALLY clear for us up/over here. Nice show, glad you found something W. of WisDells to fish that wasn't a northern resort.

Why wouldn't you use longer rods on the outside? Every fish dang near is tangled in the other rod. Or run 2 rods straight back off the transom and 2 90 degrees off the gunnel?
