As always great podcast and glad to have y'all back this week!! Congratulations to Garrett for trying something a little out of his comfort zone...that experience will stay with him for his lifetime!! I get that’s the only time and day but if my hubby needs to rest from being exhausted and wants to be with us then we would just chill at the resort…. And probably plan for a beach day in the future because I really do love the beach, and my kiddos too ! Lol great pod cast!

Hey Steve, This podcast is still refreshing and fun, love yall. I'm not sure if yall have ever heard this from other listeners but I can never make our what Rick says over the phone and it would be nice to have you do like what you did towards the end where you brought the phone to the mic or kinda give a summary of what Rick said. As coaches once those children step on that field they have now become OUR responsibility. They are now under OUR care. I always have a talk with the parents and players before the start of every season to let them know this. I would hate for a kid to get hurt by taking a line drive to the head or any part of the body because they don’t have the attention span (these kids are still very young) or aren’t prepared to play the position. As a parent if your child gets hurt, you get to go home and pep talk them up. On the other hand US as coaches, WE get to go home and lose sleep that night or week. Because we knowingly put a child in harms way. As coaches we try our best to coach the children up. But because of short amount of practice provided before the start of the season we can just do our best. Good luck, keep serving your community, have fun and keep making memories. PLAY BALL!

Lol Renea is chiflada manipulator... She's complained about taking care the kids for less before. Steve had to force himself after 3 days of work. If it was the other way around Renea would've changed the schedule so she can rest and we would of heard "I had to take care of the kids and I was all up and down so many days" 😅 I care and hope the best for you Steve. You have a happy family Steve, great job!
