Thank you for sharing 🙏. The castonitis may be a virus. It has certainly reached me in Denmark as well 🤣. Am a fan of Holst Supersoft. Goes really well with one strand each of Supersoft and Titicaca, the fine alpaca. The Supersoft will be soft after wash when the `spinning oil` is washed out. That is what makes the yarn a little hard to the feel when you knit with it.

I’m so blown away! I’m knitting Edie from Isabell Kraemer and I tried it on 20 minutes ago. The yoke depth is off because my row gauge is off and I’m having to figure out how to balance yoke depth and circumference on a circular yoke for the first time. I literally thought to myself, “I need to research how to do make these adjustments because I’m obviously clueless!” I sat down to rip back a few rows of the yoke and clicked on a new-to-me podcast. First I’m impressed that you’re even reviewing the comments and sharing links from your previous podcast (I don’t think I’ve seen other podcasters do this!) but the content that you’ve shared in the first 10 minutes is exactly what I need! Blown away! Needless to say, I subscribed! Thank you :)

Oh my gosh Linda! I can’t believe you chatted about your Rv obsession! About 7 years ago I became obsessed with the idea as well and even started buying things for it ie : the heating Buddy, water containers, propane lights etc. I made an entire little book filled with ideas for mine and never did it… wa waaaa😢I watched all his shows/ interviews with the people that had converted to this way of living. I think the reason I never carried through with it as much as I was obsessed is because I do not like driving to places I don’t know. I love exploring but I hate the driving. I totally get the excitement of it though I still think it could be amazing to do and could love to create my own little traveling home! Love your sweaters by the way ! 😊

I absolutely love the top unit that you are wearing. Well done! Really cute on you! My husband and I have a trailer. And we have had one for years now, but before that we did regular camping in a tent, etc. The kids loved it. They grew up doing one week a year camping as a family at Bear Lake in Utah. It is absolutely beautiful there. They call it the Caribbean of the Rockies because the water is blue blue blue! Now we have a much nicer trailer and enjoy taking it out and doing exactly what you said. It’s a getaway and a time to commune with nature. It’s quiet and a little bit like playing house. We love it. We have two other couples that we go with. The guys golf during the day and we knit during the day. Can you believe it? It’s the perfect scenario! And then we play games and eat good food and, just hang out. We still do Bear Lake and now our kids are being their kids. It has bonded our family. My guilty pleasure is that I have never once missed an episode of Survivor or Amazing Race. I watch them faithfully!

This episode hit home on several levels. I'm working on the Midocean Tee and I had not seen a chart where it covers the repeats and off to the sides shows a yo and whatnot and I had the darkest time trying to figure out what I was suppose to do. When the light bulb finally went off, it made sense. But there were moments that I questioned so many things. We're in the process of moving (but not having to show our current place) but living out of boxes because things take longer than expected especially when living abroad. Have a great few weeks.

The way you pronounce Scheepjes brings a smile to my face. I'm Dutch, and this is a Dutch brand. You say sheepjes, which is "little sheep" in Dutch, but there is a C in it 😉. Laughing at your 'Cheap RV Living' obsession, I am currently obsessed with KZbin True Crime, KZbin stories about grizzly bears ( live near Glacier Park) I am obsessed with animal videos and also Mr. Beast videos. I am good at diving into rabbit holes. The Watts murder case rabbit hole was a couple of weeks long. Of course, I knit while in those rabbit holes. 🙂🙃

Hey Linda! If you are still a member of TKGA, the most recent online magazine (Spring and Summer) has a fabulous article and pattern using a Fleegle heel. Several people I know have a high arch and swear by this heel and fit. It is easy to knit with no picking up of stitches or holes. I will say that I have not watched your last episode so if you stated you wanted a heel and gusset sock, I was not aware of that so then disregard this note. Hope to finally meet you while your in my home town for Flock and Fiber!!!

Hi Tamara- I have no preference of heel … just looking for a roomier one… thanks for the recommendation… Hope we meet at Flock - that would be fun… and I did not renew with the Guild but will sign up again soon… thought we were moving but change of plans… life! 🤗

Just FYI, you know that all the TKGA magazines, patterns, and annual conventional meetings and classes are online, right? You can get them anywhere you live. Anyway, just wanted you know in case you were not aware. Love and Hugs!

I watch "Now or Never", youtube.com/@nowornever_aus?si=Zi01xyj6mXxdIBOI Erin & Alex who began travelling around northern Australia in their new van, they sold for a pre-owned caravan called Bertha. They renovated it, but now have major repairs. We upgraded from a camper trailer and bought a brand new van with ensuite to go glam-camping.

I’m watching this episode in my 38 ft. Fifth wheel travel trailer parked in a RV park by Lake Whitney,TX. It is my favorite place to be wherever we park it! 😁. We’ve camped all over the country since I retired 10 yrs. ago. Even Canada and Alaska!! I’ve camped since I was in my 20s (73 now) and camped alone many many times over the years. Always felt safer camping than in a hotel. 🏕🏔🏕
