Awwwh…what a blessing to be able to provide a blanket to Irene!!! She sounds so special…90 something years…wow!!! And to still be sharp as a tack is truly a blessing. I binged watch all of your videos…crying with you at times like today!!! You my dear lady are truly a blessing to your seniors!!! You teach yoga…keeping them mobile which is so important as we age!!! And you’re giving them handmade blankets that are filled with so much love created from squares from around the world!!! Thank you so much for having a huge and kind heart thinking about our seniors that are often forgotten as they’ve had to make major life changes!!! Please also thank Mommzy…that’s what I use to call my mom!!! I have never crocheted 42 squares so fast as I wanted to participate in such a worthy cause. I will be taking them to the PO tomorrow morning. I will try to do another 42 by the early part of November!!! I’m so blessed that your video was a recommendation!!! In my "other life" I am/was a health care worker (lactation consultant) so I guess I have a "heart for helping," but this group in particular (seniors) just take my heart everyday. It is so wonderful to see their reactions when I work with them, I can't wait to see how they will react when all these beautiful blankets, created by so many hands, will affect them. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to make a difference...even very small in their world. XX Kim

Beautiful blanket!!! I'm sure Irene will love it. No move is easy however if she will be close to family then it's a good thing. The squares r very pretty. Your a good person to do this Kim. I have no idea where I will wind up as I get older but I hope I meet someone as thoughtful and kind as u r. It's a rare trait in today's world.
