It is so heart warming and refreshing when you talk so lovingly about your husbands. Corrina, it took so much courage to hold it together to help your husband. Thank you for sharing such a scary story. Jenn, my son was a trap shooter as well when he was in high school. Of all the activities our boys were in, I think trap shooting was my favorite to watch and a sport that is undeservingly shadowed by other sports. Though, it is brutal on those kids shoulders. But they probaby have fancier guns than when our boys were in school!😅

I’m so excited to hear about the Up North knitting retreat. That just happens to be my birthday weekend so I might have to treat my self. 😊. I was able to stop in at The Yarn Cabin in our way up north a couple of weeks ago. The shop is lovely and Angie was very sweet! I will be making it a regular stop anytime we are near Bemidji.😁. Hugs to you both. Thank you for the suggestions on sock patterns and the encouragement to keep going. I actually messed up on my first one, lesson learned. The seconded set is coming along well. Lots to chat about between health scares, knitting retreats, FOs and WIPs, community service. Thanks for podcasting. FYI MSP flies to AVL nonstop with Allegiant, Sun Country and Delta depending on the day. It’s only 80 minutes from Franklin NC. Asheville has lots of different yarn shops in its vicinity so if you need a road trip in Feb and March when you want to see spring bulbs blooming, this might be a good destination for you.
