I am so enjoying your podcast. My niece had breast cancer at 29 years old. She had to have a double mastectomy and total hysterectomy. I try to support anything for cancer. It has been 7 years and she has two children and supportive husband but constantly worries about cancer coming back somewhere else. My brother, her dad died at 64 years old from liver cancer 1/23/24. Everything she has been through it is hitting her very hard. My son will be moving to Minnesota in July from Alaska. He will be heading there in a few weeks to go house hunting in a suburb of St.Paul. Looking forward to going to some yarn stores when I get there to visit him. I just finished blocking a longer length Love Note for my nine year old granddaughter. I added some sparkles in the lace section. She absolutely loves it.

Really enjoy watching you ladies. Great pace. I'm knitting on an Ester sweater and a Holiday Doodle Scarf which is my Advent knitting. Hopefully, a section each month and by December, I'll be done. Chuckled when you talked about milestone birthdays. You think 50 is big one, wait until 60 (which I turned in January). The old heart is still beating and my fingers are still knitting, thankful for the life I live.😂

All the milestone birthdays are big ones...life is to be celebrated! Happy BIG 60...belated, of course! Advent knitting is so much fun especially when you find your pace!

Thanks for another great episode. I am coming to Bemidji the middle of May and I’ll have to check out the new yarn store. One of my favorite sights in the middle of winter is driving past lake Mille Lac at night and seeing all the ice houses with their lights.
@KnittingUpNorthwithJennCorrina7 ай бұрын
Oh great! Yes, it will be open! We are so excited! We know what you mean about a lake all lit up at night with fish houses...it's a like a city on the lake!

Great podcast ladies! Beautiful sweater and poncho you are wearing. I have knit the easy folded poncho as well and have yarn to knit another! So easy to whip up. I love to watch podcasts to see all the yarns/dyers out in the world…my dream would be to own my own shop not sure it will ever happen but one can dream 😊

You two are so much fun to watch! I was 50 years old in 1990 when my friend and I went into partnership in a children’s clothing store. In 2015, 25 years later we closed our shop…it was a fun time spent together. On my bucket list was to learn how to knit socks…we both knit, but I was always intimidated by that tiny yarn and needles…lol. Now each August she receives a pair of socks for her birthday from me! I knit socks for my two adult grandsons and their wives…even a pair of matching Harry Potter 🧦🧦 for grandson and his baby boy 💙🧦💙

Caught up with your podcasts and enjoyed them very much. Love your projects! I bought the Tittigaga socks from Nancy Wheeler a few days ago. I really enjoy her designs. The segment on the fish houses was very interesting. I had never heard about those types of houses. I always say, "I learn something new everyday". 🤔

Hi Ladies. I just finished Petite Knit's Sunday sweater in Knit Pick Gloss and Aloft Mohair in the color of Cranberry. I love the way it turned out. I just dug out of my closet a pair of socks that have been sitting there for about 4 years. I'm trying to work out size/needles/sturdiness of yarn. I bought that sock book because I really want to make the sheep colorwork socks. I figured if I wanted to get into colorwork I would start with something small. Colorwork is in the distant future for me since I have a sweater quantity waiting for me after I get done playing with these socks. Love your podcast and seeing all the wonderful things you both are working on.

Your podcast is so lovely thank you for all your shares and inspiration. I have found many new makers and designers to support from the content you bring to the community. Thank you! I am currently knitting on a 2024 Blanket Club that I purchased and receive quarterly delivery from Polka Dot Creek yarn shop. The pattern I am loosely following is The Stitch in Time by Kay Jones.Its my very first blanket and seemed like a huge commitment but knitting along with others and getting a yummy yarn package every 3 months is very fun !!

Having so much fun watching you two chat about your beautiful knitting projects! So jealous too that you will have a new knitting shop in your local town. I live in rural Wisconsin, far from a knitting shop, but last time I visited my daughters in Minneapolis where they live we went to a new yarn shop there called The Dandelion Fibre Co. It was really nice and they carried some yarns I’ve been wanting but haven’t ordered online because I wanted to check them out in person first.
