Episode 6: The Treatment of Traumatized Refugees

War, natural disasters and political persecution are all factors forcing people around the world from their homes. Almost 80 million people are estimated to have refugee status today - a huge population, and one whose traumatic experiences are more likely to lead to long-term mental health issues. We look at the work being done to better understand the experiences of refugees, and how psychiatrists can best serve them.
