you know even though heiji kind of blackmailed his way onto shinichis team i think the both learn that its good to have a partener in crime so to speak and also its nice to have someone shinichi can just be himself with and they are good brothers what do you think

dunno if i'd call it a blackmail though. cuz in much later episode, heiji played significant roles in the organization plots, especially in vermouth and kir arc
