Mary Anning Toft doll is gonna be so cute, Martin ! In Sweden the protection over the shoes is called " damasker". Perhaps "Gaiters" in english. Oh such lovely Edward's animal menagarie balconies. Thanky- Thanky.

When I saw all those Toft animals (Edwards menagerie) the thought entered my mind: 'do they have an Okapi?' So I searched for it, and yes, they do! The Okapi is one of my favourite animals. Another animal I love is the Sloth, of course there's a Toft Sloth too ... Maybe once I'll crochet an animal ... 🦥

I flew over for Thursday and Friday of Stitchfest, it really wasn’t for yarn wielders. Although Toft saved my trip and I picked up my first copies of their books, also had a lovely stop at the Loop yarn shop around the corner.

Lovely to see your video Martyn, sad that I missed you at the show. I've got all the panda patterns from CraftySmith which I love. We were in at around 10am and then out by 1pm so weren't there long, but I did spend quite a time speaking with Kerry and the ladies at the Toft stand. Made a couple of purchases there too, oh and got patches as well!!! If it helps, I have a couple of beginners cross stitch tutorials on my channel too, (I was a cross stitcher first) more than happy to help xxx Oh and have you seen the Lex in Stitches Penguin? It's a little bigger than Bex's which I will be grabbing at Carry on Crafting as he's adorable! And OMG Bo looks awesome!!! I'm still trying to finish the feet and then put it all together, think I may have overstuffed his body though lol. I found Frida (she hadn't been packed yet) So I may work on her during our car journey to the North lol, looking forward to doing my first doll. As for Round Up videos, you could do a quarterly round up maybe? I've been thinking of doing a quarterly check in for some of my languising WIPs :)

Sorry to find out your band was not totally successful. I was pulling for you. (I’m now following them on insta.) That sock is beautiful. Almost makes me want to try them but I would have to get the very same yarn. So I am safe.
