I started Crappie fishing as a kid back in the late 50's. Heavy braided nylon line, a cane pole (cut along the river bank) and a real Cork. That said....I still picked up a couple of pointers from you. Thanks and keep the videos coming!

Awesome thank you Sir very much. God bless you. I have a 12 volt aerator made from a small aerator from computer equipment. It works great and very very quiet. Can get them off eBay for cheap. Hid under my dash and out an on off switch on it with about 5’ of hose. Move it around in the boat where ever I want. I don’t fish with live bait much at all. I use an Engle 14 qt that I like a lot. But the aerator comes with it is way to loud and annoying. So not just Frabil either.

Thanks for the detailed explanations for us newbies. I hope next week when you are on the water you will show how you set your string bobber stop using the 8' rod when the fish are in the 30-40' depth zone....how to set the bobber stop correctly. Also, when the fish are that deep, do you ever just vertical fish without the slip bobber and just watch your split shot on forward facing sonar screen? Is there an advantage of slip bobber vs the vertical without a slip bobber when fishing deep during the winter or summer?
