Sri Sri Babathakur says that bondage consists in attraction of the body and the thing of the world, while freedom lies in giving up that attraction and abiding in the true nature of the Self which is 'Oneness of Knowledge/Knowledge of Oneness'. Body, mind and the senses are modifications of reflection of Knowledge. In reality they are nothing but basic elements differing only in the patterns of combination. It is these patterns of combination that make a man consider one thing beautiful and another ugly, and thus desire the one and dislike the other. With the dawn of right knowledge, the 'Knowledge of Oneness/Oneness of Knowledge', all likes and dislikes vanish and a man attains his true nature and becomes free from duality. Therefore, it is said that desire alone is the world. It binds people to the world and makes them think it real, and thus subjects them to the cycle of transmigration. The moment they are free from desire the reality of the world will vanish and there will be no further rebirth for them. One who has renounced desire is completely free. He may live anywhere, for he will not be affected by circumstances.
