3:40 Sir you are wrong ... With due respect I would like to bring to your kind notice that: Ain-i- Akbari, the rent-roll of Akbar, the sixteenth-century Mughal emperor, and Manasa-mangal,the poem by a Bengali poet on Ma-Manasa, Bipradas Pipilai, of the late fifteenth century, both make mention of the city's early name's being Kolikata, from which Kolkata/Calcutta have been derived. This point has also been mentioned and relied upon by Hon'ble Calcutta High Court in 2001 in case of #SabarnoRoyChowdhury vs State of WestBengal where in a landmark judgement it ruled that Job Charnok is not the founder of #Kolkata and Kolkata does not have a single birthday or foundation day All these are documented valid authenticated facts taken from Britannica , Wikipedia and website of Kolkata Municipal Corporation Therefore while its true the continuous description related to KOLKATA can be found only after 1690, when Job Charnock came here but he is not the founder of the city since evidence of the city name and existence is available prior to his arrival.
