Okay, the cab forward whistle on 4449 was a great addition to the selectable whistles. Especially since it was modeled in her 1984-1999 appearance.

That's the most smoke I've seen in all of your videos of yours I've seen so far. Looks great. Especially the way the headlight interacts with it causing a lighted effect. The whistle/horn sounds great too.

This all looks so cool. I don't have a layout of any sort yet (space limitations and money limitations and time limitations) but living vicariously through people like you has made me start a file with a list of things I would want in a future layout, and types of rolling stock/locomotives I would want to have on said layout. and as I watch videos from people like you I add to the listso as time goes on and my time/space/money become less restrictive and I can potentially have some trains I will know what I am looking for.

Got to see 4449 in 2009 when it made the journey to Michigan for a large event that also had several other steamers in attendance. What an awesome sight to finally see in person. Also saw the other GS in St Louis.

Yeah, but the problem is that model trains have only a niche audience. I started another channel last year that's about survival gear. It's growing by leaps and bounds and will eclipse this channel before too long, and that's because survival gear appeals to a wider audience...unfortunately.

The second whistle for 4449 is the best and is more prototypical. Its the 6 chime though. I'm currently looking for the older ones like the GS-6 and GS-2

My F-150 story - Last February, just before everything locked down, my 2015 SHO needed some work done and the dealership set me up with a loaner at Enterprise. The only Ford they had on hand was a 2020 F-150 XLT, which had 2000 miles on it. Having never owned a truck, I never "got it," but once I drove it for a few days, I was beginning to figure out reasons to eventually buy one. Then, COVID lockdowns hit, and I ended up having it for 3 weeks. It was a fun truck even with it being the Ecoboost.

A feature that Lionel should put on their vision line engines is a working air compressor feature. Whenever you use the train break the air compressor automatically goes off.

Legacy station seems like the only store to receive their shipments. I ordered from my local hobby shop this time around instead of TrainWorld. Even train world doesn’t have their shipments yet either

I wish lionel did better with the cylinder steam sound. It should play for the full length of the smoke effect then turn off then on for the next side as that's what the real thing does. It shouldn't only play when the chuff sound plays.
