Thanks for the informative video. After seeing your stove top, I thought that I might advise you to use a new razor blade scraper to remove all of that burnt on gunk. Then use some Weiman glass cook top cleaner & polish on your stove top. I've had my exact stove top for about 9 years now and it still looks like brand new. I hope you take my advice as I will be taking yours on how to repair my LG glass top range that has a burner problem.

I'll see what I can do. The wife is pretty hard on the equipment. Any chemicals you use with the scraper to soften up the gunk and make it easier to remove?

What the razor blade doesn't remove should come off with many tries with the glass cook top cleaner and polish. With each try, you should notice more of the gunk coming off. Use plenty of elbow grease for maximum results. Good luck! @@MazdaB3K

Thanks for the video. But, you left out the part I needed to see, which was what you depressed to remove the connectors. It's so tight and obscured, I can't see the large connector clearly, and I don't want to pull too hard on the wires trying to disconnect it.

One as yourself should invest in glasstop cleaner. Maintenance is important to ownership!!!

Thank for the video. I have couple of questions. Is it easy to turn over the panel with burners like you did to replace the burner ? Why you open the back side of the burner ? Thank you for your help in advance.

If you have all the wiring and screws disconnected, the range top will flip pretty easily. Be careful of the stamped edges as they will cut you. When you say open the backside of the burner, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean the back of the metal behind the control panel, do you mean the range eye itself?

Thanks you yes I have the same question, is there a way to just lift the glass top enough to get to the front burner without having to fiddle around the back of the range?

Looks like you have to remove the back panel in order disconnect the old burner and plug in the new one to the circuit board.

My issue is when I turn on the rear burner the front one also comes on by itself, any ideas?

It sounds like command to turn on is being sent to both burners. I would consult the wire diagram that should be taped to the back of the oven to see what circuit controls that and go from there. Offhand I can't be of much more assistance.

Great video for sure but man, 200 for the part. On market place I can get a used stove for 100 bucks. My stove is the exact model you have too. I'm going to switch back to gas though, I miss those.

Make sure you get a modern gas stove that has a good cutoff for the gas going to the pilot light. There's been issues with folks getting poisoned due to gas leaking from the pilot light when out.
