Crystal Winters Hello! To have a character’s eye color flash to a different color, you would use the “previews” command: @CHARACTER previews eyesColor Red. Then to go back to the original eye color, use the unpreviews command: @CHARACTER unpreviews eyesColor Red

For instance, I'm walking into a garden and a speech bubble pops up from behind me without the person really showing on the screen.

@@themoonluna8617 If your trying to make a character talk without showing them on the screen, just put a command to place them off the screen. Just remember that the speech bubble arrow will follow their position.

thank you so much for this tutorial! I do have one problem though, I'm not sure if i missed anything but I've used this template twice in one episode. It worked for the first character, but when I used it for the second character, and previewed it, the first character popped up instead of the second character, even though i already changed the name. is there anyway I can fix this? I'm not sure if I make sense or anything, but i'm having a lot of trouble with this-

Hi Dara! so i have a question, when we do cc and you customize the character will the character stay customized the way you customized it for the whole story?? if it doesn't make sense that's fine!

It will automatically keep their characters to how the reader changed them to unless you give them the option to change it again (see example A) or you make the character change (see example B). Example A: At the beginning of each episode you add the CC template and allow the reader to change their character Example B: You write in the script for their character to change something (ex: @FEMALEAVATAR changes hair in Sleek Ponytail, @FEMALEAVATAR changes hairColor into Deep Brown, @FEMALEAVATAR changes mouthColor into Red Deep Gloss, etc.) Hope this helps!
