Thanks guys. It's updated now. Great feature. It's nice that it auto updates all episodes too. Nice touch!

That's a great tip but it only works for monolingual podcasts :) My podcast Innov&Crea is bilingual as in some episodes are in French and others in English and so are the episode descriptions. To use the footer as it is, I would need to be able to select to which episodes the footnote belongs to. Maybe one day! Thanks for your great work!

Is there a way to have the footer only get added to new episodes? My podcast has had a few members change, along with our theme music changing, and I don't want to have the older episodes all changed.
@Buzzsprout2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, no. The way we've built it the Episode Footer is the same for all of your episodes.
@curunir4712 жыл бұрын
@@Buzzsprout I understand why, but it makes the feature totally unusable for a large number of podcasts, like mine, that like to mix up our cast and theme music. C'est la vie.

This is a great feature. But Is there a way to set episode footers for future episodes only? We have over 300 episodes and all of our social info etc... is already apart of our past episode notes It would look weird if the same info was appearing twice for previous episodes IMO.
@Buzzsprout2 жыл бұрын
I hear ya. Unfortunately, you'd need to go pull that info from the old episodes. We tried to figure out a way to remove the repeated info from old episodes but weren't able to make it work.

Thanks! Is there a way to do this for the actual audio of the podcast, too 😇? Intro and cloasing words?
@Buzzsprout2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! You can use the Dynamic Content tool to add audio to the beginning or end of all your episodes. kzbin.info/www/bejne/monKhJl5gNN1b6c

Thank you I’ve always wanted a KZbin page that would explain parsnips. Thank you
@Buzzsprout2 жыл бұрын
I've got you! The parsnip is a root vegetable closely related to carrot and parsley, all belonging to the flowering plant family Apiaceae. The flavor is starchy like potatoes, sweet like carrots, and bitter like turnips. In many ways, the parsnip is the quintessential root vegetable: complex and earthy with a taste that's difficult to explain.

I have 68 episodes where my footer was already edited in the existing text. If I add yours it will be on there twice. Do I have to go back and take it off of all 68 episodes to avoid this? Thanks.
@Buzzsprout2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, yes. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes, but you'd need to pull that from all your old episodes. But once you do it you'll never need to include that again.

How do you have line breaks on your description? When we input the description it always bunches up with no spaces or line breaks! Thank you 🙏🏽

Which podcast app are listening in? If you hit Enter is should go to the next line and that should be reflected in the listening app.
