Enjoying the videos. Coming back to what you were saying about security, have you thought about fitting cameras so you can see what's going on outside, especially at night from the safety of the truck. Just a thought. Looking forward to more videos 👍

As for security. In the front cab area. Take the seat belts and wrap them around the door handles, then clip into seat belt clip as you would normaly. Then if the front doors are opened the seat belts will keep them from opening wide for someone to gain access

In the 90s I drove a truck all over Europe, it was a removals truck 11 metres long 4 metre height and believe me not all houses mean you can get a truck there, never commit yourself until you take a look first even if you have to walk far, I got stuck in the centre of La Linea once because I rushed it, never again did I make the same mistake

I suspect that Garmin navigation would have avoided the low bridge problem - you input your length, height, width, and weight and supposedly it plots a route that avoids low bridges, weight limits etc.

You could have put those two roof-boxes in the middle of the rack instead of both sides. As the bridge was arched, you'd probably have got through.

I literally watched some of this through my fingers. I was remembering getting my van directed by some French workers down an ever narrowing alley. Made it unscathed apart from the nervous wear and tear but I really felt your pain

Bob, that looked stressful! If you ever feel unsafe, unsure, stop turn around head back to Europe, no one will ever think less of you, maybe find an idyllic place to stay for a while, as long as your happy & safe, that's all I, and I am sure anyone wants! 😊🤗

White out and green flashes on camera looks like corruption on memory card. Possibly due to the card class not been high enough for the video quality selected.

Have you tried Sygic navigation?. You can put your height and weight limits in. It’s designed for trucks.

Hi Bobby u should have dropped the tyre pressures and you would have squeezed under. That is if u had a inflator for the other side. Good luck on ya adventure you've got this 👌

An idea is just to let most of the air out your tyres as that would give u 4 or 5” m8

Interested in route updates - how will you get beyond Turkey?? Lots of us are waiting to see how you solve this question. Through Iran?? ....very, very risky and not recommendedby ANYBODY! Through Azerbaijan and into centeal Asia......borders still closed, I think and where to go after Central Asia???. Ferry from Greece to Israel, then into Saudi, but then where???? Safest option I can see would really be through Russia (btw don't be intimidated by Russia, very safe, very friendly, I know because i lived there for 11 years) to Vladivostock and then into China.....but documentation for driving in China is really horribly complex. What's your plan?? Would make an interesting video!

Only a thought for next time & there will be a next time. I Assume you were just on the bridge limit so by deflating your tyres by say 50% you may have got under the bridge & then re-inflate them on the other side. Would have thought that would have given you an extra 15cm. When i used to drive trucks around Europe we had Air suspension so we could drop it down but i assume you do not have that option. Keep on enjoying yourself.
