Sh*t happens!! But you did a fantastic job self-rescuing your truck - amazing to watch and thank you so much for filming and publishing this rescue.

Get a huge winch on the front and back then you can drive it anywhere more or less and tyre chains. 😂 Great video. Snapping the tree branch and falling was so funny when you said I’m alive 😂😂

"I'm Alive" - OMG that was incredible, well done for keeping your composure in such a tricky situation and overcoming it, you're living a lot of people's dreams with this adventure, was great to hear some behind the scenes stories from @teapotone 's podcast - now watching all your videos from the beginning!

I have no idea about trucking. Followed after seeing you on liveration... the way I crapped myself on your behalf watching these videos! 😂 this is mad, and I love it. You're like a perfect example of how a kid can grow up if you give them space and opportunity to figure problems out. Most folks would crumble under a sitch like this. Bravo.

Before you come to Australia invest in a recovery kit and couple sets of max tracks and not cheap knockoffs- watch Elnick Adventures and The Cartwrights for what they get into travelling with Isuzu truck with caravans. Loving watching your travels and can’t wait when you get to Australia 🇦🇺 if you get to Adelaide give us an oi!

Fair play to you for getting yourself out of that situation. At least you know within yourself that you have the skill sets and confidence that if anything like that happens again, you would be confident with your own abilities. Every day is a school day, learn from your mistakes, and move forward. I used turfer winch in the Army, its an old bit of kit, but it's so good.

not in a vehicle that big but i caught my wheels in the same soft dry leaf nonsense doing a 3pt turn onn tight trail and i slid backwards and sat with my foot on the brake with my leg shaking up and down like a jack hammer until i got the courage to pop the hand brake on and get out..... only to find my 2 front wheels in the air. i had to jog 1.5 miles down to a ranger station for help as i had no cell service. i felt this so much.

Good effort great sense of achievement isn't it once you get it out, if I can give you a little bit of my wisdom after 30 years of doing what you did there, if you get a feeling will it be OK, stop get out walk the route look for worst case scenario's if you've answered all you questions crack on, remember you can always track build to get through before it becomes an issue. Finally strong effort there, keep up the good work and the fact you still filmed and didn't chin it off to get on with the task made it even harder for you. Appreciate your dedication. Have to say falling from the tree made me spit my tea out and woke up my dog 😂

Im really enjoying following your adventures. And this one was "an adventure" !! Whilst this was certainly very stressful for you, you did keep your head together and think your way out of it, so from an awful situation, you should take that from this, your resilience and fitness, mentally and physically, got you out of it. But also its a lesson on always staying safe and within reasonable limits, you could have hurt yourself when you fell hanging off the tree. Anyway you live to fight another day and you've learnt some things.

realties of a 10 tone truck. 20 20 hindsight...be careful
@sscramble Жыл бұрын
Serious question, although the truck is mega why not have a lighter setup so you can go anywhere? 10.5 tonnes is not going to go well on most tracks like that..! Around the world…

Surely the cool factor is worth more than ease of use 😂😂. That thing is a beast!! Or a pig if it gets stuck....
@paulraper794 Жыл бұрын
Bobby answered this before during the build. He wanted to be able to go very “off grid,” carrying a sh!t tonne of water etc and everything he’d need. Plus wanted a bit of wow factor and but if character. Mixing van life with off roaring etc. I was worried when he was driving down those mountain tracks with a 10 tonne beast though 😂
