The 8thgen Accord only has a wing spoiler as an option however you can borrow the decklid spoiler from the V6 for 4cyl applications. Holes are recommended but I have heard some people installing with just 3m tape alone.

I would touch up the drilled holes with touch up paint to hopefully reduce rust in the future.

I just got an aftermarket one off eBay (not manufactured) because honestly that is a crazy amount of money for the spoiler..... well anyways, it has holes to drill in a different location.. now idk if I want to return this to get yours and stop being cheap or just install the one I have with the different sized holes.. Is the 3M tape noticeable when viewing from top view? Coz on mine it shows and it bothers me. Do you think the spoiler itself should be place near the Honda Badge? Any advice would be appreciated.

The tape should not be showing. For proper alignment use the included template.

+College Hills Honda Just installed mine last night on a 2015 v6 sedan. Initially it was flush. This morning you can easily see the tape from the top. Is there a way to fix this? Makes the car look cheap now

Sounds like a clip did not engage completely and/or popped out. Make sure all clips are engaged.

This exact style is not available for the previous generation Accord. It is a different looking deck lid spoiler.

Can you remove this deck lid spoiler from the Accord Sports Model ? I'm not sure if the Honda mount it on as shown in the video or if it is part of the lid as one piece. I don't like the spoiler on a sedan since the car is already too big.

I would go slightly smaller than 8.5 and just slowly make the hole a little larger. If you go too big you will be stuck.

They usually replace it bc the spoiler adds more weight to the trunk but this one shouldn't really matter since the spoiler is so small
