DIY 2013 2014 2015 Honda Accord Coupe & Sedan HFP lip kit Installation Part 1 (front)

TY, I was hesitant on installing these myself because of the holes that needed to be drilled but when the dealer quoted $500 to install them, I did it myself. It came out perfect and was relatively easy.

Would you say the drilled hole in the front was actually needed? You still have the tape, clips underneath and the rear screws holding it.

The front splash guard is held on by 2 screws and 1 clip under neat.  The only tool you need is a phillips screwdriver and a slotted screwdriver to remove the clip . To remove the driver side, turn wheel all the way to the left, this way you will have easier access to remove the screws. To remove the passenger side, turn it all the way to the right.

Yes. rolling the fenders will be fine with the kit installed. Unless, of course for some odd reason your rolling past the top portion of the fender all the way the the bottom then yes.. you will have problem.

I like the agreesive look of the front lip spoilers especially with the splitter installed. I wonder how it looks if you don't do the side skirts since I dont like them as much.

I mentioned that it is a aero kit because that is what honda dealers calls them. Difference between the hfp kit and the aero kit is the hfp badge.

The parts will come painted from the factory. All I had to do was choose the correct part number that correspond to the color of my car.

Hey I have a 2014 Honda Accord coupe . Is there any way I can just purchase the front bumper pieces in this video ? I cant pull this off . I’m not a “car guy” I feel like I’ll mess up my bumper . And I wonder if I can just take it to a auto body shop so it can be installed ????

The template will be included when you purchase the lip kit. You don't necessary have to drill holes in your bumper to install. You can use VHB 3M tape to mount the spoiler with just the double sided tape. Honda does not sell the mounting kit for the front by itself.

Purely just for looks. If you like the look buy it, if you don't then don't buy it. Mod the car the way you want to. It is your car and your going to have to look at it everyday.

I really wants to do this! Do you recommend doing this myself.. I have no experience doing this ! And i really wants to do it but honda is charging me $2,500 to do the aero kit and spoiler in the back, while i can buy it for 1450 at college hills !

Cesar Feliz I would try and find out what the installation price is at your dealership and then see if they will price match that hfp kit from CHH. Shop around.. not all dealerships charge the same installation fee.

Yeah I'll try to find out but on the honda website they have it front and back for 450 and sides for 650 + 450 of the lid spoiler, that's 2,000 while at chh they have all that for 1450 that's a $550 save just in parts! So Idk what to do

Where do I get the template for drill the holes? I bought my hfp lip used and it only comes with the lip, no hardware. I found the PDF file.

I purchased it from my local Honda dealership. I didn't ask about the suspension since I have a i4 and the suspension package is for v6 only.
