I miss him everyday he's gone knowing Ill never get to meet him and tell him how his music saved me from myself, from ending my own life and finding a purpose to keep going. To find love for myself for the first time in all my 23 years alive. I wanted him to know how much he as a artist meant to me, the happiness, the sadness, the smiles, the screams. All of it. I sing them all the time and made it my life goal to learn how to drum/guitar and sing. It isnt for anything but my ownself, and what this music meant to me. Because it was more than just notes on a page, it was home to me when I had none. It was understanding when I was misunderstood. It was solace when I needed space in the car to cry. I'll miss you, but I'll never forget. Cheers. 3:44

I feel like the story in the video is that men can be a victim of domestic violence too. She keeps hitting him and he doesn't do anything back to her except shout his emotions out into the song. She continues to slam the bat into him and confetti keeps raining on her as if to symbolize he still loves her regardless. In the end he stands up and leaves and we see her kicking the heart-shaped pinata away as if she is regretful for what she has done knowing she's lost a great guy. At least, that's the story I've made for the video. Keep it up guys, I'd love to see a performance here in Australia. Xx

Before I read this, I thought it could've been that she's hurting him so badly emotionally he feels the physical pain of it, but finally he leaves because he's had enough. Although, I like your outlook on it too :) thank god for the world of imagery and opinion haha.
