These tears are nasty.Literally takes a month to heal.If the injury is from bench press.

Spelled tendonitis wrong… but at least did it consistantly.

I’ve watched a lot of videos about these topics but you’ve probably given the clearest explanation, thank you so much 🙏🏻

I almost started weeping when you described Impingement. I have been dealing with this discomfort for months in my shoulder. I thought eventually it would get better and go away. Finally talked to my doctor yesterday and got set up with an ortho appt. Everything you said just nailed it all on the head, including neck and shoulder tightness. It's a relief just to have a clearer idea of what's going on.

I think the bottom line sometimes is this- if the acronym space gets impinged then the supraspinatus tendon can develop tendonitis & over time with repetitive use then a tear can develop

Thank you very much for this...most videos don't mention that impingement & tendonitis can also have some of the similar symptoms as a tear (stiff when you wake up, etc). I was confused because after watching those other videos I matched with some of the symptoms of a tear, but I feel no pain when just sitting around, I can lift my arm pain-free 90% of the time, and have no pain at the top of the shoulder where the bone ends, etc. I was also baffled because there was a specific spot on the front of my delt, down pretty low, near the tie-in with the pec where it hurts most. I also wasn't experiencing weakness; I still bench pressed two more times since the onset of the pain (not a smart idea in retrospect), and though it was painful my strength wasn't reduced. It was frustrating trying to figure out what was going on, but after watching this video my symptoms sound EXACTLY like shoulder tendonitis. Thank you so much, I can watch the other videos you have now for some rehab ideas (along with laying off benching for a couple weeks obviously).

I thought an impingement was just another name for tendonitis? And I thought RTC stood for rotator cuff tendonitis? You clearly know your stuff. I'm not doubting information in this video at all. I'm just a little confused 😢

My shoulder was injured 2 days ago. Hurts so bad that I get nauseous from the pain. Can’t lift my arm more than 2 inches. Doctor says it’s impingement but it feels much worse than impingement.

I LOVE that you didn’t add any music to the background! I feel I get so much more knowledge from your video than from other videos where they add distracting music!

Great transmission of knowledge from an experienced doctor to a common man in the simplest terms. You made the issue very simple to differentiate and identify, identify the problem to the core. Also pointing out the chances of recovery at different levels of the progress of the disease. Yet to see your videos of the excercises. Thank you doc.

Thank you for explaining in detail about this issue. I’ve seen advertisements on these topics but never thought about it until it affected me. This is very helpful. Will be watching your other videos in hope that I hear naturally. Blessings to you for making a difference in the lives of so many people.

Thank you for explaining this so clearly in layman's terms. I'm now pretty confident I have an impingement rather than a tear and will follow your instructions on treatment. Subscribed with thanks 🙏
