An epoxy floor is recommended for areas exposed to high foot traffic and the movement of heavy machinery and equipment. On the other hand, tiles tend to break under such conditions.
2. Areas of Application
A floor coating epoxy is highly recommended for warehouses, garages, showrooms, storerooms, manufacturing plants, and other areas with similar functions. Tiled flooring, on the other hand, should not be used in these areas.

Before you apply epoxy floor paint better to sand it to remove previous sealer for possible chemical reaction and for better adhesion. Hi. Thank you for your inquiry. Both vinyl and rubberized floor coating requires a smooth/leveled flooring to achieve a good finish. There are many pros to vinyl flooring, one being it has 100% waterproof surface, but there are also a few cons you may want to consider depending on your needs. Some of the cons are: 1. Difficult to remove if glued down 2. Can be punctured with very sharp objects 3. Some vinyls can dent with heavy objects on top of them 4. Not biodegradable 5. Can show fading and discoloration with excessive UV exposure. The quality of the rubberized floor coating will depends on what brand and method of application you are using. We recommend Buildrite's Polycoat Flex. It has excellent scratch and abrasion resistant and can last longer than chlorinated rubberized flooring.
