Just took delivery of my ‘55 Nomad project. The body needs sandblasted/primed bodyworked but the major metalwork (floors, rockers, tail pan) were already replaced. Basically need to do what you did.

Looking good. So nice on the rotisserie. Makes it so much easier to work on. Different angles to move it is cool. on a still position. I’m sure I’ll pull a muscle here and there. My build 76 is going to be a pain in the butt. Already is. Lol. Anyways looking forward on the next vid.

Hello, Catching up on the Firebird project. Really nice project! I have one question. Do you know what 2K primer you will use over the epoxy primer? Thank you.

Yes, we will be using Tamco's hp5311 black high build. We will use that primer from this point on until we are ready for paint

Good tip punch a couple 3 holes in the can or you can make a v with wide masking tape yo pour out the product

So a blog on someone putting there 2 cents in and said this product was hard to sand how has it sanded for you?

So far it sands almost identical to a polyester primer. Of course any epoxy or polyester primer is going to be harder to sand than say a high build 2k. Overall I'm impressed with it. I wouldn't use it on everything, but I do like the fact of it being a nice thicker base for us to work off of.

@@rogersrodworx I'm doing a 71 stingray I have taken all the way to fiberglass so I was thinking of using black for a barrier coat and surface builder

I think it would be perfect for a corvette. I built a black 56 corvette restomod a few years ago, I wish this would have been available then.
