it is the small round circle/holes in the paint colors. Usually I see this if the medium had not been prepped properly, this is not the case here. but I was wondering why those holes developed? @@DebraSmithArt

@@puckstopperdel Some artists use alcohol in a spray bottle to "fracture" the surface. It will stipple the surface like that.
