Thanks!! I used hardboard because it is much thinner than any MDF I've found, and even if I did find it the thin MDF, it would warp way too much after applying my primer.

Thanks man, it means a lot to me! No I didn't put a sealer because its on a wall and doesn't need to be scratch resistant. I used to make other sample videos on how to apply floor epoxy and I always used backer boards cause they were the perfect size. I figured they would look awesome hung up on a wall. It isn't wood, it is a cement based board called a Hardie Backer Board

Great, how do you apply resin to a vertical wall?

vertical epoxy will always look ugly. We recommend pouring resin on a faux wall panel while it is on the floor, and securing it to a wall once it has cured

No GE-100 omits no vapors at all. If any gets on your hands you will be fine but cleaning it with water is useless. I use denatured alcohol but regular rubbing alcohol works just as well :)

I would love to do this but with 4 square pieces. Do white primer on all, then pink, teal, purple and yellow in separate squares, like a smoky effect. Very inspirational video! Thanks!

If you mean each square would be a different color you should mix each separate color with a little bit of white too. Otherwise you wont get a smoky effect and only a solid color which is a little sparkly :)

Do you have to use a blow torque for the bubbles?

You can use a heat gun and it works just as well, and some people spray denatured alcohol to remove bubbles but this changes the texture and also isn't as effective.

I chose it because it is very thin, and wood that thin would warp way too much while the epoxy is still a liquid. A 1/4" MDF wood board would work just the same, its just way thicker than the hardie backer board.

You could polish it to create a total glass like finish, but this is not necessary

Haha Ill tell her the compliments :) No. The epoxy comes with two buckets. Part A and B. Without mixing both of them together it will never harden. The chemical reaction will never start.
