Analog meter always give good looking design even rolls Royce used analog meter it is not giving trouble but digital meter is a problem still single channel abs. Lot of cost cutting working is done otherwise nothing.

I brought unicorn 150 2017 BS3 model at relaunched time. It gives awesome experience in long trip.. 5yrs above i rides several times from salem to chennai and chennai to salem.. sometimes that 300kms non stop too.. i never felt back pain or any issue.. I'm maintaining myself only. For major issue only will go to workshop. Till Now i never visited company service centre including 1st service also.. now running near 53000 kms.. i changed chain sprocket at 50k only. Yet not changed tyres too.. Now giving more or less 45kms/ltr in local and above 50 in highway based on cruise.. in this old version kerb weight is nearly 150kg. So only nowadays struggling to handle while family ride, it bcoz of my hand fracture.. i thought to sell but i dont & won't.. Bcoz its my 1st bike(wife).. i brought in my hard earned money in 30yrs.. so it's very precious to me😊

Bought the legendary 150cc model on 2013, even after 90,000 kms still butter smooth engine and mileage of around 50kmpl!! Of course I upgraded to highness 350 but still planning to keep my unicorn till it dies or I die!! The marvel of Honda engineering!!

I used Unicorn from 2007 to 2010 for 40k kms. After using many modern bikes i drove 160 unicorn and omg the feeling and comfort is like this is the bike made for me. The satisfaction level was nostalgic for me. I also thought of selling my cbr and getting this one for the ease of driving but what stopped was its age and hallogen headlights & yellow light flickering meter. I am sure many will buy this again now. I will wait for AMT type commuter bikes in the near future as Yamaha haa introduced it.

My first and still young bike. Bought this in 2005. It is still as good as new. Starts in single kick (yes, it does not have self start in its first launch). Engine is as refined as latest ones. Stability no match. Love the seat space and length. Overall, a good family machine.

My 2007 unicorn(spoke wheel) gave me 53-58 kmpl in Chennai city and if driven at 60-85km in the highway it gave 68 kmpl. When i drove at 50-60 kmpl, i used to get 72-75 kmpl from mount road to marai malai nagar route constantly. I will say this is a mileage king bike with good commuter capabilities. It was the first bike to do 0-60 in 5 seconds and gave excellent mileage too. New models after April 2007 have got bigger tires/alloys and speed has also reduced due to increased weight and sproket update.

Initial la kalaila bike start panrapo mattum oru 30-40 seconds Vandiya running la vitutu rpm 1.5 vandhadhukaparam use panradhu dhaan disappointed ah iruku, apdi use panna dhaan mileage um nalla tharudhu, adhayum future la rectify pannum batchathil unicorn innum long years kuda survive agum adhula doubt illa. En frnds mrng start Panni rpm reduce aagama use panra naala dhaan mileage kudukala nu sonnanga, but 160cc bike choose panringana ungaloda first option ah unicorn 160 dhaan irukum adhula endha maatrukaruthu illa.

I have 2012 model,Head light brightness is low and engine kill switch was introduced recently where Pulsar and FZ had this long time back, build quantity can still be improved, spares are vostly compared to Hero or TVS. Morning start is always bad services center guys said bike is like that.

This was also one of the bikes which can be driven at 25-30kmph at 5th gear so excellent low end torque. Modern 160 bikes with short stroke can't do this as its engine geometry is different. Original unicorn was a square engine 57*57 i think but new ones bore is the same but stroke is 63. 160 unicorn is long stroke now, so might have lost its high speed character(above 85 kmph) as per the theory.

I have seen your extreme 125r long trip to pachamalai. I have few details about pachamalai. Most of the local people use 100cc bike, so cc is not a mater. 1 year before the road is heavily damaged. You have riden in new road. If you want to try adventure to pachamalai there are two more ways to reach pachamalai. 1). Belur to mayambadi(pachamalai) real offroad. 2). Veppadi to pachamalai dangerous off road. All these 3 routs I have driven with 1997 hero Honda splendor.

Unicorn is best choice My bike 1st. Honda Dream Poor milage poor pickup so 2nd. Hero passion pro disc Super bike super milage But while driving in highway if any volvo bus cross nearby you have feel little bit trouble. Braking has difficult while 80km speed. Because bike is weightless, but, super milage, seating also super in 100cc segment. Suspension also awesome. Finally Bought my 3rd bike Unicorn Mat Grey Bike is awesome, Milage is nearly 50 only for me. Best bike for family, long seat, abs braking super, While driving New bike you feel driving in air... I feel that moments, 2.5yrs crossed 50k km No issues, Service panni correct ah vechikitta super vandi. Engine sound avlo smooth. But bag maattadhaan sariyaana idam illai, Luch bag lam sutududhu...😢
