Epson 3880 Ink Bay Dis Assembly and Diagnostic

WOW thanks for this, perfect timing. Got it 3880 recently and was having trouble with one of the channels and have tried cleaning the print head but one of the channels still wouldn't flow so I tried putting a little pressure into the spigot or nipple that connects to the cartridge to retrieve ink and I ended up breaking it off. Oops. Now I can't find it not that I could have probably glued it back on but any suggestions? Just buy a new bay or a new old printer for parts to replace that portion? Now that I see it's just one little sheet with the spigots connected.

Have you ever replaced the contacts in the cartrage bay? I ahve one that is bad need some advice on what to do.
