I would recommend the C6500 Gloss version for best versatility in label size and label finish. If you never need to go over 4.4" label width, then the C6000 gloss will be great. Where are you located?

I don't believe so, because the media sensor will not have enough material to calibrate and then print.

Having a hard time getting the machine to recognize rolls without the black marks… any advice? Not having any issues with rolls with the black marks…

If you have correct media definition created in your printer driver, it is possible that it has overrided or ignored it and went back to a default one. If not, maybe try creating a brand new media definition with your proper settings.

@@antypanag1 Possibly, but usually changing to the correct printer driver setting should calibrate the printer (continuous, die cut with gap, or black mark).

can you print on Silver or gold labels and what about custom sizes die cut labels?

Yes, custom sized die cut labels can be done. Gold or Silver labels may be possible but they will be uncommon and probably expensive as the label material must have inkjet receptive coating. You will be best to speak to your local CW dealer and label supplier. Where are you located?

The ink usage depends on the factors of design, colors and size. Each label will be different. You will have to have your local dealer do an ink calculation for you, for each of your label pdf files.

No, I don't believe it can. It must use Inkjet Receptive material on rolls or fan folded so it does not do sheet fed materials.
